SOUNDLAB A132BD - TOSLink Optical to Phono Converter

S/PDIF (Sony Philips Digital Interface) is the most common form of digital audio in domestic use. It can either be sent down a wire, usually with a phono connector, or down an optical fibre with a TOSlink or 3.5mm connector.

TOSlink is the standard optical connector found on many CD players, MiniDisc recorders DAT machines and pro-audio equipment.

This adaptor converts S/PDIF on Optical TOSlink to RCA Phono.

There is a small mains PSU included but it comes with a 2 pin continental style connector. You will need to use a shaver adaptor to connect this safely.
