I scoured the country looking for a source of the battery Behringer fit in the Europort EPA40. I have confirmed from the battery's manufacturers that they have never sold any to the UK. They could be ordered, but only in quantities of thousands. Much research later, I have found a battery that is compatible and available.

This sealed lead-acid battery is physically identical to the battery Behringer supply in the Europort EPA40. It does not have quite the same capacity as Behringer's original and so will give you a slightly reduced run-time between charges. The battery Behringer fit is rated at 2.6Ah. This replacement is 2.2Ah so will only last for about 85% of the time that the original could. As Behringer quote a run-time of "up to 8 hours", I would expect this battery to run the EPA40 for around 6 3/4 hours.

If you plan to carry a spare charged battery, please ensure that you prevent the contacts from shorting in transit using the supplied contact covers or by keeping it in a non metallic box.
